Almond Roca Confections

Almond Roca was the creation of two bright men that had deliciousness in mind when they created this heavenly confection. One named Harry L. Brown, a small confection store owner, and the other named J. C. Haley an avid salesman and marketer, got together and started a candy manufacturing company in 1914. It was not until 1923, when the company hit gold in the form of a small bar confection. This crunchy, log-shaped confection suffused inside with butter and coated with chocolate and chopped almonds took America by storm. Dubbed Almond Roca by a local librarian, and Being a favorite among our troops this delicious confection spread through Europe during the war and the company still claims is a favorite among our troops. In 1927 is when Almond Roca got its still famous pink packaging and is served the same to lovers of the delicious confection fresh trough out the world.
